inksite.com does NOT hide profit in our shipping charges. Our shipping charges are based on the weight of items ordered and the shipping method selected. To determine your actual charges, click the "Add to Cart" button next to the product(s) you are considering. Prior to confirming your order, you will be shown the price for each shipping method and asked to make a selection. Almost every order placed before 6:00pm Eastern Time on a business day will be shipped the same day. (Bulk inks are filled to order and may need a little extra time.) All orders will ship by the next business day or else we will contact you to tell you when to expect shipment. We offer the following shipping options within the continental U.S.:
If for any reason you feel the options listed are inappropriate for your particular situation, please contact us and we will try to find an alternative that works for you. If you are not in the United States, we offer various options for shipment which we will discuss with you prior to shipping. When using the shopping basket, select the option called "Unspecified-We Will Contact You" Note that some deliveries, especially expedited services, require a signature. If you are not going to be available when your package is due to arrive, please leave a signed note for the driver if you want your package left. You may also want to call the carrier to keep a signature release on file. Our web site is now equipped with a secure digital certificate. You can be assured that the financial information you submit is safe from unscrupulous types as long as you use an updated version of the most popular web browsers. We recommend either Firefox 2.0 or later or Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later. We do, however, offer several options for our customers who prefer not to submit their credit card information through our web site:
If you wish to use one of these options, please complete your order through the shopping basket on this web site and check off the appropriate choice on the payment form. It is our policy to respect your privacy. We will NOT make your name, your email or physical address, your phone number, your fax number, or your buying habits available to any other organization (unless compelled to do so by a law enforcement agency). It's that simple. Exception: We DO provide your physical address and contact information to our shipper so they can deliver your package and send you an email with your tracking number. A detailed privacy policy can be view here. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover/NOVUS. You may also pay by check in advance or use your PayPal account. It is our policy not to charge credit cards until we are prepared to ship. We DO NOT ship C.O.D. Here's why: Experience has shown that shipping C.O.D. causes grief both for us and our customers. Often, the carrier will attempt to deliver a C.O.D. package at a time when the customer is not available. The package then comes back to us. Now, we have incurred shipping expenses, but the customer is without his/her product. Nobody wins except the carrier. Besides, the extra charges the carrier adds for C.O.D. are rather excessive when considered as a percentage of the total charges for our average order. We are open from 10:30am to 6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Often, we work later than 6:00, so feel free to call anytime. If we can't come to the phone, you'll have an opportunity to leave a message. Product warranties are through the product manufacturers. Product performance problems should be discussed directly with the manufacturer as they are best equipped to resolve the issue. A list of contacts is maintained on our contacts page. Here are some of the manufacturer product warranties. Returns of unused merchandise in resalable condition will be accepted with no restocking charge for a period of 30 days from shipping. Credit may be used to purchased alternative merchandise or refunded to the customer if so requested. Refunds will be applied to your credit card if your purchase was made by credit card. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. |
